The Argyle Sweater is making quite a come back with the younger generation making it trendy, while the gentleman on the golf course still looks very comfortable in it, before or after the 18 holes, which was popularised in the 1920's by the Duke of Windsor.

The Argyle pattern was developed from the tartan of Clan Campbell, of Argyll in Western Scotland, since the 17th Century.  It was traditionally used for kilts and more recently from the patterned Argyle kilt socks as worn by Scottish Highlanders.

The Argyle design and the tartan are two designs from one, the Antique Royal Cashmere Throw is also taken from the traditional tartan with the bold bright colours that only the Scots can put together reflecting the natural beauty of their surroundings.

Which is your favourite tartan?
